WALK a MILE a DAY for LIFE, the walking club, was started in 2006 by GERALDINE WILSON because walking at least one mile a day can improve your overall health.
JUST WALK. Just walk at least one mile each day. Just walk on your lunch break, walk with your dog, walk with your co-workers or walk with your family. Please note that having a special "WALK TIME" with your husband, wife, and children can improve your family relationships.
30 MINUTES A DAY. If you are not near a walking track, walk at least 30 minutes a day. You can walk 15 minutes on your lunch break and 15 minutes at the end of your work day. You can walk 15 minutes in the morning after breakfast and 15 minutes in the evening after dinner. Walking 15 minutes after dinner can be the ideal time for your family special "WALK TIME".
WALK WITH US. If you would like a list of our walking times and locations please call 803-221-1339. If you can not meet with us please walk in your own neighborhood or work complex. Also, we can help you start a walking group in your own neighborhood. This should be a lifestyle change.
